In our fourth week of “Flashback Fridays”, HFL Media heads back to Round 4 last year when Mt Barker took on Mt Lofty at Hanson Oval. The Barkeroos were able to bounce back strong from their 81-point defeat to Hahndorf in the previous round to take the chocolates against their rivals by a comfortable 5-goals.

Flashback Fridays #3 – Round 3 2019 ANZAC Day

Round 3 2019 - HAHNDORF V MT BARKER

The third week of HFL Media’s “Flashback Fridays” is here! Although ANZAC Day is still another week away this year, on this round last year Hahndorf took on Mt Barker on ANZAC Day itself in celebration of all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations across our history. Hahndorf were already laying down the foundations for their eventual premiership success as they beat their would-be preliminary final opponents by 81 points, with the 2019 leading goalkicker Darcy Hourigan kicking 4 for the ‘Pies.

Round 2 2019 - NAIRNE BREMER V Uraidla Districts

The second edition of HFL Media’s “Flashback Fridays” is here! This week we take a look back to round 2 last year when the newly promoted Nairne hosted Uraidla on a chilly April afternoon. After a tight first half from both teams, Uraidla piled on 12 goals to 1 in the second half to storm home with an 87-point victory and seven goals to Travis Oakley.
