Round 7 took the Call Of The Wild team back to Pine Avenue for the second time this season, as Hahndorf played host to Blackwood. The ‘Woods were always going to have their work cut for them against the ‘Dorf; the Magpies’ as yet unblemished 2019 scorecard making it clear from the outset that this would be one tough contest.

An inevitable result in blustery conditions ensued, but the final scoreline doesn’t necessarily reflect the calibre of football that the visitors brought with them.
